SALES POLICY
Little Hobo Farms reserves the right to retain any animal at any time!
Goats are herd animals and should be treated and maintained as such. No goats will be sold to single-goat owners. All prospective buyers should either already own goats or have plans to purchase multiple goats.

Reservations
Little Hobo Farms offers a free waiting list. Each prospective buyer on the list will be welcome to choose from everything available at that particular time. Once a prospective buyer has been notified, 24 hours will be allotted for a response before moving onto the next person on the waiting list. A $50, non-refundable deposit, is required per kid chosen to be paid immediately in order to hold a particular goat.
Health
Little Hobo Farms maintains a clean, annually-tested negative herd. All adult goats, one year of age or older, receive testing for CAE, CL & Johnes. Results are available for viewing at the farm only. Although all goats are guaranteed healthy and up to date upon pickup, we cannot guarantee their care after leaving our premises, therefore, we cannot guarantee their health past that time. All buyers are responsible for checking goats for disqualifying traits and health concerns before leaving Little Hobo Farms.

Transport & Pickup
All buyers are responsible for pickup and shipping arrangements, including any costs associated. All dam-raised kids must be picked up by 12 weeks of age for bucks and 16 weeks of age for does unless other arrangements are made at the time of reservations. After that time, a daily fee will accrue for care and maintenance of $20 a day plus any vet or medical costs incurred. If contact cannot be made with purchaser within 24 hours of pick-up date the kid will be relisted for sale and any money paid will be forfeited. Bottle kids will not leave the farm until at least 7 days of age and until we are confident that they are taking their bottle well enough to ensure they will be ok once they leave the farm. They will be with their dam for 3 days to get a good start of colostrum and then will be switched to red cap whole cows milk. Bottle babies will require the same deposit as dam raised kids but will have to be picked up between 7-10 days of age unless arrangements are made at time of deposit.

Registration, Tattoo & Disbudding
All goats will be sent home with their registration papers, will be tattooed accordingly, and disbudded. If a buyer prefers for an animal to NOT be disbudded and purchased WITH horns, disbudding may be skipped with a 100% down, non-refundable total cost payment.

We love and care for every animal on our farm and absolutely want the best future for them as well as a healthy and easy transition into their new homes. Thank you for inquiring!
Austrailian Shepherds
We are very proud to be breeding these incredible dogs. It is important to us that we are breeding versatile, well-rounded, socialized, and healthy pups for our buyers to welcome into their homes and hearts. Our dogs are a huge part of our lives, and we enjoy spending time with them.
We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.
We do everything we can to socialize our puppies. We want them to be easily trainable and have a smooth transition to their new home. I utilize the following enrichment methods; lots of love, Socialized with Cats, Household Desensitization, Sound Stimulation, Various Surfaces, Socialized with Other Animals, Socialized with Adult Dogs, When possible we start crate training and house training.

Puppies will be held until 7-8 weeks of age if puppy isn't picked up on the agreed upon date a daily fee will accrue of $20 per day plus any medical or vet care that is incurred. If contact cannot be made with purchaser within 48 hours of pick-up date the puppy will be relisted for sale and any money paid toward the puppy will be forfeited.
